Event Description

The VA Parkinson's Disease Support Group will meet on September 28, 2019 from 1-3pm in Room 2K-113 at Hunter Holmes McGuire VA Medical Center. Speaker is Catie Kane, a speech-language pathologist, who will discuss speech and swallowing changes in Parkinson's disease and how to manage them. Group will then break into separate discussion groups. The group usually meets on the 4th Thursday of each month (except December) No meetings during the summer months. December meeting will be held early on December 12th. Visit the website for the 2019 PADRECC support group schedule. Note: Non-veterans with PD are welcome also.
