Optimism Walk, American Parkinson Disease Association. walk with us to help put an end to Parkinson's disease. The Optimism walk is a short, non-competitive fundraising walk for the whole family. Yes, the whole family. Why Walk? Every 9 minutes someone is diagnosed with Parkinson's disease. Funds that are raised provide local support, education and research. The more funds raised, the more people we can help. Saturday, April 4, 2020 at Mt. Trashmore in Virginia Beach. Check in opens at 8:30 am, pre walk activities begin at 9 am and walk begins at 11 am.
