Respite Care for Persons with Disabilities

The Arc of Greater Prince William provides a diverse variety of respite options for families and individuals of all ages where there is a member with a special need, including developmental delays and physical disabilities.  The respite care program interviews, checks references, and trains providers to care for children with special needs. Any family residing in Prince William County, Manassas, or Manassas Park who has a family member with a special need is eligible to participate.

"Parents Night Out" provides care for children with disabilities and their siblings at the Muriel Humphrey Center. Parents can enjoy an evening out with their spouse, or go shopping, or just rest at home knowing their children are well-cared for in a safe environment. Offered one afternoon or evening a month.
