Recreational Activities for Persons with Disabilities

The Arc of Greater Prince William provides recreation programs for those with developmental disability to teach skills, provide community integration and leisure enjoyment.  Provides weekly activities for adults with disabilities who wish to participate in a regular physical fitness and recreation program, social events such as an ice cream social, dances, day trips, bingo night, classes (cooking, painting, zumba) and Karaoke Night.

Life for Adults Physical Fitness program (LIFE)/Integrated Bowling provides weekly activities for adults and teens with disabilities who wish to participate in a regular physical fitness and recreation program, including tennis, basketball, volleyball and more.  Bowling leagues unite teens and adults with disabilities into teams with non-disabled bowlers. A variety of teams ensures bowlers of all ability levels the chance for growth and success.  Each of these programs is offered in both Woodbridge and Manassas.  There are a registration and transportation fee for both.

The Roaring Lion's Clubs meets the 2nd Tuesday of each month from 6:30 PM until 8:00 PM at the Arc's main office.
