Wappacomo Hall, Assisted Living

Shenandoah Valley Westminster Canterbury (SVWC) is a not-for-profit, church-related continuing care retirement community or LifeCare community that offers assisted living care at Wappacomo Hall. The facility is for adults who require assistance with at least two activities of daily living. This level of service includes individuals who require assistance because of significant behavior problems. Facilities licensed for the assisted living level of care also may provide care to residents who require only the residential level of care.

The staff includes Registered Nurses, Licensed Practical Nurses, Certified Nursing Assistants, Physical Therapists, Speech Therapists, and Occupational Therapists. Services include a low-vision reader, exercise classes, music therapy, dental and physician services, and an indoor pool.

The Health Care Center offers short-term rehabilitation and therapy services for skilled stays, to a resident, and also to a citizen in the community, if space is available.
