Who We Are
The Ambulatory Care Clinic (ACC) is located on the medical campus at Sentara Norfolk General Hospital. The Clinic (ACC) offers outpatient care to residents of the City of Norfolk. These primary and specialized services are provided to adults who are either uninsured or under insured. The ACC provides nearly 17,000 visits and appointments and sees about 8000 patients per year. ACC offers lab services, X-rays, EKG's and a Medication Assistance Program.
During a patient's care, a variety of staff may provide services at the ACC. This staff includes Eastern Virginia Medical School attending physicians, medical residents, and medical students. In addition, the multidisciplinary healthcare team also has physician assistants, nurse practitioners, registered nurses, licensed practical nurses, nursing care partners and administrative associates.
