Spinal Cord Injury Services

Wilson Workforce and Rehabilitation Center (WWRC) provides state of the art, individualized, comprehensive evaluations and rehabilitation programs to persons with spinal cord injury. Services emphasize therapies that aim to promote functional recovery, self-sufficiency, responsibility for managing personal and physical needs, and vocational preparation.  WWRC offers a highly experienced and dedicated staff, up-to-date equipment, and an encouraging environment on a fully accessible campus.  Spinal cord injury services are provided by an interdisciplinary team of experienced clinicians, including a physiatrist; nurses; personal care assistants; physical, occupational, and speech therapists; psychologists; vocational evaluators; vocational educators; and case managers.

WWRC also offers a Spinal Cord Injury Follow-up Clinic on a monthly basis.  Recommendations for follow-up evaluations through this clinic may be made as clients complete their medical rehabilitation programs
