Eastern Shore Community Services Board
Who We Are
At The Eastern Shore Community Services Board, the Infant and Toddler Connection of Virginia ensures that all children from birth to three years of age who are developmentally delayed, or who have a diagnosed physical or mental condition that has a high probability of resulting in delay, will receive appropriate and timely early intervention services.
The goals of early intervention are to:
- Identify early the unique needs of both the families and their infants and toddlers with disabilities.
- Provide assistance that supports families in reaching their goals for themselves and their children.
Entitled services may include:
- service coordination,
- physical therapy,
- occupational therapy,
- speech therapy,
- assistive technology,
- family training and counseling,
- special instruction.
