The Richmond & Philadelphia PADRECCs are joining together to offer a video support/education group where you can join from the comfort of your home either by computer or phone. Groups will be held on the 1st Monday of the month from 1:00 p.m.—2:00 p.m. Please contact Miriam Hirsch at (804) 675-6284 for more information. The August group: August 2nd Speaker: Dr. Sol Kalkstein & Dr. Megan Glenn-Philadelphia VA Neuropsychologists Title: The Neuropsychological Evaluation Process in PD. No meeting in September. October 4th: Speaker is Dr. Mark Baron, Title Role of Agent Orange in PD; November 1st Speaker is Dr. Ali Hamedani. The title is Visual Issues in PD. December 6th speaker is Dr. Paul Koch. Title is Surgical Treatments for Parkinson's Disease. Our support group is open to veterans and non-veterans, caregivers and anyone else interested in the topics. The meetings take place on the 1st Monday of each month from 1:00-2:00 p.m. They are in a WEBEX format and the link to join the meetings is provided below.
