Reconstructed: The Rebuilding of African American Communities Through Faith and Education Tuesday, September 27, 5:30–7:30 pm Filmmaker, musician, educator, and Fluvanna native Horace Scruggs presents and discusses his documentary about the Black churches that emerged after Reconstruction and their instrumental role in supporting and establishing education for the Fluvanna Black community. The film chronicles the history of education in the region and features stories and experiences of local Rosenwald school graduates. Free and open to all. Register
