Who We Are

The Department for Aging and Rehabilitative Services (DARS) may provide transportation services through local Area Agencies on Aging to take older persons to the doctor or to the grocery store if they cannot drive or cannot take public transportation. Callers may contact the Department for Aging and Rehabilitative Services (DARS) to obtain the names of transportation service providers in their community. The Department will refer callers to their local Area Agency on Aging.
