Who We Are
Lynchburg Parks and Recreation operates nine community centers.
The newly renovated Miller Center serves many purposes. The main offices of the Lynchburg Parks and Recreation Department are located in the Miller Center at 301 Grove Street, across from historic Miller Park. Business hours are from 8:30 am to 5:30 pm Monday-Friday. To contact the Miller Center, phone (434) 455-5858, or by fax call (434) 528-2794.
The Miller Center has three classrooms, a neighborhood center and a 200-seat auditorium with a small stage used by the department for classes and activities. All of the classrooms and the auditorium may be rented occasionally on the weekends only. During the week, the community center and auditorium may occasionally be rented as well.
