Who We Are
Floyd County Parks & Recreation Authority owns and operates a 43 acre park near the town of Floyd which was built to serve the citizens of Floyd County and hopefully enhance economic development and growth. The park is made available by reservation to organizations and citizens. Within the park area are 2 ball fields, a hiking trail, picnic shelter, concession stand, restrooms, and a small playground area. Call for information about other parks and athletic fields.
Adult programs offered are Aerobics, softball, co-ed softball, basketball, volleyball, co-ed volleyball and Senior Olympics. Other programs include Hunter Safety courses, clinics for softball, baseball, football, basketball, and health and safety classes.
