Campbell County Parks & Recreation offers fitness, recreation activities and socialization activities for residents of Campbell County. During the Summer, there are a lot of activities to be part of: Walking your way to a healthier you blends exercise with entertainment by providing a fun atmosphere to meet people with the same interest.

Adult athletic programs offered include adult basketball, senior volleyball, karate for adults, church and men's league softball, ladies' fitness. Youth soccer in Spring and Fall, youth league basketball, karate for youth.

Playtime is a bimonthly publication during the school year (September - June).
Senior Living is published on a monthly basis with the exception of the Dec/Jan newsletter which is combined.
Special events include summer playground program, walk-a-thons, pre-school summer program, county fair, art show, Easter Egg Hunt and other special events not specifically covered in other programs. 

The Heritage Festival is an annual festival in partnership with the Campbell County Heritage Festival Planning Committee. The festival is usually held in October at the Community Park Pavillion, 294 William Campbell Drive, Gladys, Virginia. For more information, call the office.
