Who We Are
Great Falls Park offers programs on historic Patowmack Canal, natural resources of Great Falls Park, and recreation opportunities. Offers nature walks, talks, slides and other programs. Most popular activities are hiking, picnicking, kayaking, rock climbing, bicycling and horseback riding. Park is located at the end of Old Dominion Drive, near intersection with Old Georgetown Pike (Rt. 193)
The Park is open daily from 7am until dark. The Visitor Center and bookstore are open from 10am until 5pm for the spring through fall seasons.
