Who We Are

Brunswick County Health Department, part of the Southside Health District, provides education and services in order to achieve and maintain personal and community health by emphasizing health promotion, disease prevention, and environmental protection.  Most services are offered on a sliding fee scale based on income.  Services include:

  • Clinical:  Dental, Family Planning, Immunizations, Maternity Care, Sexually Transmitted Diseases (STD) Testing and Treatment, Women, Infant and Children (WIC) Nutrition
  • Case Management
  • Community Outreach:  Education and Screenings
  • Environmental Health
  • Vital Records:  Birth and Death Certificates
