Who We Are
The Speakers Bureau for Senior Virginians seeks to inform seniors about ways they can avoid being victims of violent crimes and consumer fraud. The Speakers Bureau for Senior Virginians attempts to bring an atmosphere of understanding to and dialogue with the senior community.
The Speakers Bureau works with the Attorney General's Division of Consumer Counsel and the Triad program to foster a cooperative effort through Triad's key mission: Bringing seniors and law enforcement together to fight crime. The speakers go to senior centers and other meeting places to talk with older Virginians, learn from them, and answer questions about crime against the elderly.
