Who We Are
Stafford County Sheriff's Office Crime Prevention Unit coordinates community services and crime reduction education programs. This Unit is also responsible for conducting home and business security surveys, managing the Neighborhood Watch programs, Project Lifesaver and being involved in many community events and seminars.
A TRIAD represents a three-way partnership among a community's older or retired leaders, its local chief of police and the Sheriff's -- to address crime issues which affect the health and safety of older citizens. The Stafford TRIAD... is an agreement among the Sheriff of Stafford County, Virginia State Police, Aquia Harbour Chief of Police, AARP and the Office of the Attorney General to work together to reduce criminal victimization of the elderly and to enhance the delivery of law enforcement services to the older persons. Triad works to improve the quality of life for seniors by providing an active exchange of information between local law enforcement and seniors."
