Who We Are

Assistance to victims and witnesses of crimes that are processed through Juvenile and Domestic Relations Court, General District Court, or Circuit Court. Assistance includes general information, case information, and information to file for victim compensation. Other services available are counseling, reassurance, and support following the crime, emergency assistance (such as food, clothing, and shelter), referral to other community resources, and keeping victims and witnesses informed of court dates and continuances. An advocate will accompany the victim and witness to court if requested.

The Victim/Witness Assistance Program is located on the 2nd floor of the Bristol Virginia Courthouse.
