Who We Are
Hanover County Community Services Board works with Hanover Industries. This is a center-based employment program for people with disabilities who are interested in working and who may require ongoing support in order to maintain employment.
Hanover Industries currently offers training and paid work Monday through Friday from 8:30 am to 2:30 pm. Hanover Industries holds a certificate through the Department of Labor which enables them to employ persons who are not yet able to be competitively employed. The employees are paid a piece rate based upon the job they are working on and their productivity level on that job.

Other Eligibility Criteria
Must be a resident of Hanover County with an intellectual disability, traumatic brain injury, physical disability or a long-term mental illness. Placement must be considered the least restrictive level of programming appropriate for the individual.
