Who We Are

Appomattox County Health Department provides health care to the medically indigent and others when requested; provides preventive measures for disease and aids in improving the environment for area residents. The department also offers HIV/AIDS and other communicable disease testing. The department seeks to equip Virginians to achieve and maintain optimum personal health by emphasizing health promotion, disease prevention, and environmental protection.
