Protective Money Management
Rappahannock-Rapidan Community Services
Who We Are
The Protective Money Management Program recruits, trains and monitors volunteers who provide financial management for low-income seniors. Services include preparing a budget, paying bills and helping to assure financial stability. The program is sponsored by the AARP, which provides insurance for funds in the client's bank account. The financial management is only for the client's federal benefit payment, usually social security, supplemental social security or other similar benefit payment. The service is provided at no cost to the client.
