Parks and Recreation

The Waynesboro Department of Parks and Recreation offers recreational activities to all ages, classes and leisure activities for all segments of Waynesboro's citizenry. Baseball, softball, Football, soccer volleyball, tennis, track and field and wrestling are offered as athletic sports. Fitness classes are offered, including dancing classes. Pre-registration is required for all classes. All classes and/or registration are held at Rosenwald Community Center unless otherwise specified. Call 540-942-6735 for registration information of if you have questions.

Persons who require specific assistance in order to participate should notify the staff at the time of registration.

There are several parks to visit in the area: Ridgeview Park, Constitution Park, Basic Park, North Park, Shenandoah Heights, and Coyner Spring Park. All parks have picnic pavilions which can be reserved for $25 a day. Visit Parks, Trails and Facilities
