Employment, Disabled and Disadvantaged

The Mission of Stand-Up is to assist disabled and disadvantaged individuals to find success in the workplace by providing pre-vocational training and on the job support.

Services offered are: job development, job coaching and training, follow-along services, independent living skills instruction, situational assessments and pre-vocational training.

Staff will assist through the application and interviewing process, assist in learning the new job and learning the employer's rules, visit you at the job site, and more. Currently, there are over 100 employment partners within Lynchburg, Roanoke, Farmville, and the surrounding counties.
