Supported Employment Services, Hampton Roads

Goodwill's Supported Employment Services provide an intense level of support with job placement, training, and ongoing follow-along services.

Individual Placement
Through the Individual Placement model, an Employment Specialist searches for the appropriate job for the individual. Services generally include bus training, completion of a job analysis, securing employment, hands-on training by the Employment Specialist in a community business, and monitoring of the participants home and work environments to ensure that the individual maintains employment.

Group Model: Enclave Program
The Enclave Program is designed to provide employment opportunities for individuals with disabilities who are able to work in an integrated employment setting with ongoing supervision. Individuals work in groups of 4-8 under the supervision of an Employment Specialist in a business in the community. This program provides an intense level of support with job placement, training, and ongoing follow-along services as well.

There is a fee for case management, specialized supervision, onsite job training and ongoing follow-along services. This fee is generally paid by the referral source and/or identified funder.
