Who We Are

Supported Employment Program (SEP) is a National CARF accredited program that uses the evidence-based Supported Employment Model to help adults with psychiatric and cognitive disabilities meet their employment goals. Vocational Counselors work in partnership with the local Virginia Department for Aging and Rehabilitative Services office or other referral sources. The Counselors support individuals as they determine the type of employment they desire, find that type of job and keep that job. This goal is accomplished using a variety of services such as: 

  • Job exploration (situational assessments)
  • Job development
  • Job analysis
  • On-site training
  • Off-site support
  • Referral to other needed services and supports
  • Long term employment support services
