Who We Are
The Children's Center in Suffolk is one of eight locations of The Children's Center. This location offers early intervention and pediatric therapy services.
Early intervention services are available for children birth to 3 years of age who have developmental delays and disabilities. In early intervention, no one is denied services because of inability to pay.
Pediatric therapy and developmental services are offered to infants through age 21. A physician referral for most therapy services is required, although an initial screening may be requested by the parents.
The Children's Center is contracted by the Western Tidewater Community Services Board to provide these services in Suffolk, Franklin, Isle of Wight County and Southampton County.
