Who We Are

Brain Injury Association of Virginia (BIAV) offers free, confidential consultations and referrals to help those affected by brain injury. They connect people to case management, community services, support groups, specialists, and more. BIAV also facilitates two statewide support groups and one Richmond-based group.

BIAV's Richmond-based support group is for persons with brain injuries and their family and friends. The monthly meeting is facilitated by a trained, experienced BIAV staff person. Meetings focus on peer support, problem-solving, and education.

Join BIAV for in-person meetings on the 3rd Monday of every month at 6:00 p.m. in the Willow Lawn area of Richmond. If you are interested in joining this group, please contact Christine Baggini at christine@biav.net or 804-355-5748. Registration is required in advance of the meeting; we maintain COVID safety measures.
