Who We Are
Stonewall Therapeutic Recreation Center offers opportunities and recreation programs, which are open and accessible to all citizens with physical or cognitive impairments in the city and surrounding areas, regardless of sex or religion, Please call and we will have an inclusion specialist assist you with reasonable accommodations. Please give at least 3 weeks notice prior to the class or program start date to make these accommodations.
Activities engage participants in activities of daily living, social and cognitive skills while at the same time fostering independence and well being. Planned programs include individuals going out into the community as volunteers, bowling, hiking, movies, arts and crafts, canoeing, summer camps and much more.
Transportation for City of Danville residents may be provided for the programs for a nominal fee. Cash or card are accepted. Arrangements should be made one day in advance of the program.
