Who We Are
Movement Expressions is class for ages 16 to young adult. Expressive Therapeutic Movement (ETM) offers dance classes, workshops and movement exercise classes for individuals with varied physical and emotional disabilities such as Autism, Down Syndrome, and Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) and developmental delays. Classes offered include:
- Small group organized according to age and cognitive abilities
- Individual private sessions
- Workshops which provide a fun and playful way to improve communication, develop social skills, and create an exciting learning experience
Individual Movement Therapy is available by appointment. $80 for an hour session.
Lynne Bauer holds a degree in Dance Therapy, is a Certified Laban Movement Analyst (CMA), a Registered Somatic Movement Therapist (RSMT) through the International Somatic Movement Education & Therapy Association, and is a Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant with extensive experience working with the special needs population.
