Who We Are

Mountain Lynx Transit operates a weekly public transit program that is available to all Bland county residents. Vans travel a fixed route with deviations possible. Schedule Information Schedule information is available on the website and by telephone.  You can find the day of the week Bland County is served.

Customers are picked up at or near their homes in the county. The bus then proceeds to a commercial center where customers are taken to a destination of their choice. Multiple destinations may be accommodated depending upon the needs of all the passengers within the time allotted. In-town customers are welcome to board any county route while it is in town. Destinations and stops on county routes are determined by the driver for the convenience of the county riders only.

Intake Process
Call the reservation line by 4:00 pm on the last business day before the trip. Be ready to provide the rider's name, telephone number, the exact address of your pick-up point, and destination. Request if any assistance is needed beyond standard curb-to-curb service. Customers will be given a pick-up time with a 30-minute window. Be ready and waiting. The bus may arrive 15 minutes prior to or after the pick-up time and the bus driver cannot wait longer than five (5) minutes.
