Who We Are
The Adult Services program through the Wise County Department of Social Services provides services to seniors and adults with disabilities so they can remain in the least restrictive environment with dignity for as long as possible. Preferably, this is in the clients own home if this is what the client wants. Adult Services includes intake, information/referral, and also case management and other assistance to assist clients and caregivers in meeting unmet needs. Adults who need placement outside of their homes are given a pre-admission screening/assessment to determine eligibility for services.
