Who We Are
Northwestern Community Services offers respite care to families of children and adults with a primary diagnosis of developmental or intellectual disabilities. Temporary care is provided in the home for someone with developmental or intellectual disabilities needing assistance with activities of daily living. This allows a break for the usual care provider.
Respite care is usually provided on an hourly basis. Whole day and overnight respite are available when providers are available. Respite care is limited to 40 hours per quarter.
