Who We Are

Therapeutic Recreation Services offers specialized adaptive recreation programs and leisure services for individuals with disabilities of the Roanoke Valley. Therapeutic Recreation Services are held at Brambleton Recreation Center.  Adults and children are served with developmental disabilities, adults with visual impairments and adults with psychiatric illnesses and head injuries. 



Reasonable Accommodations for participation in general recreation program are available by calling Therapeutic Recreation Services at (540) 772-7529 Ext 2 or (540)-772-7548 (TTY).



English and sign language. Therapeutic programs are offered Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM.
