Emergency Assistance, Varied Needs

The Salvation Army, Winchester, provides emergency financial assistance with clothing, furniture, household furnishings and utilities. The program provides emergency relief to person(s) without distinction to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age or handicap who need temporary assistance. Vouchers are given so individuals can obtain clothing, furniture, etc.



The following items should be brought to the first meeting with the social worker:

Two (2) identifications; verification of family income; list of monthly family expenses; names, social security numbers, date of birth of children and/or members in household; information from other social service agencies contacted and if assistance with utilities is needed, a copy of termination notice is required.



You can request vouchers on Tuesday 8:30-11:30am and 1-3pm.
