Mediation

Voluntary process guided by a trained and impartial third party who will not impose a solution but will assist disputants to communicate so they can reach an acceptable resolution. Family mediation facilitates communication between disputing parties to assist in reaching solutions that will be acceptable to maintain future relationships. Mediation is helpful in matters prior to filing guardianship, disputing siblings, distributing heirlooms or aiding the elderly to the realization that they need to relocate into a more suitable living arrangement.
