Health Rights Advocacy, Consumer Rights

Public Citizen is a national, nonprofit consumer advocacy organization that represents consumer interests in Congress, the executive branch, and the courts. The Health Research Group is one of five divisions. Other divisions are The Energy Program, Global Trade Watch, Litigation Group, and Congress Watch.



The organization fights for openness and democratic accountability in government, for the right of consumers to strong health, advocating for patient safety, and environmental protection, and for safe, effective, and affordable prescription drugs and health care.
