Helping Hands Ministry can assist needy families with financial assistance with utility bills (not telephone) rent, medicine, heating oil and gas and other maintenance needs. Help with food is through Lynchburg Area Food Bank. All applicants are screened through Amherst County Social Services or through personal contact from our group.
