Who We Are
The Chesapeake Bay Bridge and Tunnel provide a scenic view, as well as observation of Navy and commercial ocean-going ships. A 625 foot fishing pier is available, and a restaurant which provides a variety of foods. The Bridge-Tunnel is a four lane 20 mile long toll crossing bridge.
Sea Gull Island is located at the southernmost of the Bridge-Tunnel's four manmade islands. The island provides traveling public an opportunity to shop, stretch their legs, birdwatch, fish or eat a meal in the restaurant.
Directions: When traveling North on I-95, take exit 11A at Emporia, VA. This is Route 58 North which will lead to I-64 West. From I-64, take exit #282, Northampton Boulevard (Route 13 North) which leads directly to the Chesapeake Bay Bridge-Tunnel.
When traveling on I-64, Take exit #282, Northampton Boulevard (Route 13 North), off I-64. Northampton Boulevard will take you directly to the South Toll Plaza (approximately 5 miles).
