Who We Are
During the year, when LINK has enough funding to support projected demand, any excess funds may be used for emergency financial assistance to individual families referred by a social worker or LINK sponsored church clergy. Assistance may be for grocery gift certificates, medical prescriptions, utility bills, and rent.
To qualify for financial assistance, an individual must contact their County Agency in which they reside. That agency will do the screening for eligibility for LINK funds. Do not call LINK directly. Individuals should call Fairfax County Coordinated Services (703-222-0880) if they live in Fairfax County or Loudoun Cares (703-669-4636) if they live in Loudoun County.
Typically, funds provided by LINK are for utility costs (if there is a cut-off notice), and rental housing (after an eviction notice).
