Who We Are
NW Works provides a planned day program for individuals with developmental and/ or physical disabilities. NW Works provides training and employment to over 180 individuals per year, both on site and in the community.
Activities provide opportunities to build basic skills for employment and independent living such as carrying out tasks, becoming a member of a group, communicating with peers and others and using community resources. Participants are involved in activities that promote social functioning and independence. Skills are also promoted that help maintain health such as self-care, hygiene, meal preparation and medication management. Recreational and social activities are jointly planned by participants with the staff.
Transportation may be available to employment training locations.
