Jewish Family Service of Tidewater (JFS) is approved as a Public Guardian by the Virginia Department of Aging. Physical address is 5000 Corporate Woods Drive, Suite 300, Virginia Beach VA 23462. Covering the entire Commonwealth of Virginia, the PAM program provides court-appointed guardian and conservator services to adults (18 and older) who have been found to be physically, cognitively, and/or mentally incapacitated by the Circuit Court.

Guardian: The Court appoints JFS to be responsible for making decisions regarding the individual’s support, care, health, safety, rehabilitation, education, therapeutic treatment, and residence.

Conservator: The Court appoints JFS to be responsible for managing the estate and financial affairs of an incapacitated person.
