Who We Are
The Winchester Medical Center Auxiliary offers Animal Assisted Therapy Services (AAT). Handlers and dogs commplete intensive training, plus pass a rigorous annual certification exam. AAT teams work regularly with patients in clinical settings, including Rehabilitation, Pediatrics, Oncology, and Behavioral Health, and are on call for visits to other units.
