Limbs for Life Foundation offers financial assistance for prosthetic care provided by local professional partners to qualified, approved applicants at no cost to the amputee. Make an appointment and meet with a prosthetist; complete application (one part is completed by the individual; the other art by the prosthetist). Generally pays for above the knee prosthetic limb and for a below the knee prosthetic limb, but each application is accepted and assessed
Primary eligibility requirements are no other source to pay for any portion of a prosthesis, at or near poverty level, potential ability to walk without assistance , and United States citizen or legal resident.
