Powhatan Nursing Home offers comprehensive rehabilitation therapies. Rehabilitation services are Medicare B and secondary insurance reimbursable.
Physical therapy covers post joint replacement and fracture care; post stroke; therapeutic strengthening and endurance training.
Occupational therapy includes restoration of activities of daily living; adaptive equipment training; splinting and positioning; contracture management and retraining for functional domestic tasks.
Speech/Language Pathology includes restoration of receptive and Expressive language; Dysarthria/Apraxia treatment; swallowing disorder treatment; and therapeutic and compensatory techniques text.
