Hypothermia Shelter: As a partner in the Ventures in Community Hypothermia Outreach Program’s effort to ensure emergency shelter to area homeless, Rising Hope provides 25 beds per night during the cold winter months, December through March. Local groups, families or volunteers from community churches provide a hot, home cooked dinner, and breakfast bags.
Ventures in Community is an ecumenical group of faith communities in the Lee and Mt. Vernon areas.
