Who We Are

Henrico Area Mental Health and Developmental Services (HAMHDS) offers a Family Support Program for families caring for an individual with a developmental disability. Limited funds are available on a first come basis for income eligible families to help with expenses relative to behavior consultations, summer camp, summer school, special equipment and emergencies.

Financial assistance in the form of a respite voucher may be available to families with a family member with an intellectual disability. 

Services may be available at several locations. 

In the event of a mental health or substance use crisis, Emergency Services personnel a   available 24/7. Please call (804) 727-8484.
