Who We Are
At District 19 Community Services Board, Behavioral Health Skill-building Services are defined as goal-directed training that enables individuals to achieve and maintain community stability and independence in the most appropriate, least restrictive environment. The program includes goal-directed training in the following areas:
- functional skills and appropriate behavior related to the individual’s health and safety;
- activities of daily living;
- use of community resources;
- medication management;
- monitoring health, nutrition, and physical condition.
