Who We Are
TASK (Taking Action for Special Kids) is an independent non-profit serving families of special needs children in southwest Virginia. We work in partnership with the Parent Educational Advocacy Training Center (PEATC) to build positive futures for children. Our mission is to ensure that families and children receive the support they need to meet their unique needs and prepare them for further education, employment, and independent living. TASK is committed to reaching all families to improve their involvement in education to make a difference.
