Who We Are

Year-round recreational and leisure-time activities for all ages are planned and supervised by the Recreation and Parks Division. Hobby classes, athletic leagues and tournaments, special events, and shows are among the community activities offered. Programs exist such as the Fall Festival, Memorial Day Parade & Crafts Fair, 4th of July Fireworks & Celebration, Farmers' Market, and the Summer Concerts-in-the-Park

Facilities include a Community Center, Senior Center, 11 neighborhood parks, ten tennis courts (including lighted courts at Cavalier Trail Park, George Mason School, and the Community Center), three full court basketball courts, a bicycle trail, and Cherry Hill Farmhouse and grounds. The Division also maintains City parks, open spaces, and landscape areas.
Convenient to E. Falls Church subway stop.

Community Center hours are Monday-Thursday 8am until 10pm, Friday 8am unti 11pm, Saturday 8:30am until 11pm. Sunday hours vary, according to the month. Opens either Noon or 2pm and closes at 6pm
